John O’Callaghan

    John O’Callaghan has over 30 years of experience in senior public and private sector roles. This included as the Assistant Secretary in the Department of Defence, Corporate Affairs Manager for beverage and dairy company, Boniac Foods (now Fonterra) and Government Relations Manager for Virgin Blue (now Virgin Australia).

    His public sector career spanned 15 years in various roles in Defence, including Executive Assistant to the Secretary of Defence, Senior Executive Officer Intelligence and Security Section, Principal Executive Officer Defence Industry Division, Chief Executive Officer Ministerial Section, Assistant Secretary Capital Procurement (now CASG) and Assistant Secretary for the transfer of the Joint AUS/US Harold E Holt Naval Communications Base, Exmouth.
